SHL Summer League Draft
We will hold the draft for the SHL tonight (Monday 5/10) at World of Beer in Westchase at 8:00 PM. The cost for the season will be $135.00 due to a shortened season consisting of a 6 week regular season (4 games per team and 2 byes per team) and a 2 week playoff. The captains will be Todd Perrin, John Fromme, Nick Calandra. You MUST pay prior to playing the first game. You can either pay me or the rink but make sure you keep your receipt if you pay the rink. There is no pro-rating the fee for games missed. You MUST pay in full before the first game or at the draft if you want to come. I do not have a schedule made out yet since we have not even picked the teams. If there is a concern about game times or paying, please let me know ASAP so we can take you off the draft list. We have a bit of a surplus of players this season so if you can’t play it won’t be a problem. The following is a list of game times. Week 1 (May 13)…..9:30 Week 2 (May 20)…..10:45 Week 3 – Week 6 (May 27 – June 17)…..9:30 Week 7 (June 24 & 1st playoff game)…..8:15 Week 8 (July 1 and championship game)…..8:45 I will send out an e-mail tomorrow (Tuesday 5/11) with the rosters and schedule. I am sure your captains will also be getting a hold of you. Your captains and I will be enforcing the no pay, no play rule so do not come to the rink unprepared. I, nor your captain, want to be “that guy” that tells you that you cannot play so please do not put us in that position.
