Welcome to the Summer 2008 Season!
Your captains should have already tried to contact you directly, but if you are unsure, check to see what team you are on and the schedule.
There are a lot of new faces this season but has the look of the best talent pool yet. If you are unfamiliar with the rules make sure you take a few minutes to look them over. See attachment.
A couple of things to note: Be prepared to pay $220 before you step on the ice. If you cannot pay you will not be allowed on the ice. Jerseys will be supplied. Bring socks as the socks stockpile has dwindled down over the past few seasons. We have had trouble keeping refs in the past. Let your captains do the talking to the refs. If you do not you may see yourself getting a 10 minute misconduct or a suspension.
If you have any Gripes about the league or the games, talk to your captain about it after the game and the captains and the board members can discuss what can be done.
World of Beer is an official sponsor. After game one if you are able to stop by for a beer please do so. Sponsorship money goes towards getting new socks and replacing lost jerseys for the league.
We will have a year end party/awards night after the final regular season game on July 24th.
Joe Fitzgerald has put together a website for us. Thanks Fitzy! It is still a work in progress and we will try and update throughout the season.
